Why does admissions matter?

b/c I’m trying to narrow down a list and I like all of the schools (and then some others not on here)some exactly the same amount, and I kind of want to know which ones are on the same level so I can kick out a few that are borderline. Definite run on sentence lol, but you get the point. I’m not going to apply to two colleges that are nearly the same if I have no real preference if they’re not my first choice. It’s 2x the work.
(Also, some of these I will apply to no matter what, but knowing ahead of time which ones are harder will give me a better idea about my chances)
