I am really confused about what to do here..
how do people who are homeschooled, or don't attend high school going to make h.s transcripts?
I am an A level student, doing my A levels privately through the british council, and thus not enrolled in a school. (Mainly because no good ones exist in my city in Bangladesh )
I go to teachers' houses for taking classes in my subjects.

So what do i do about the transcript ? I only have my O level and A level certificates. :(

To be clear, i haven’t been ‘homeschooled’ or im not a ‘homeschooler’ i’ve been attending school upto 9th grade. After that, i left school and did my tuitions privately. Finished my o levels, and now at a levels following the same trend.

Yes it’s true and yes it applies to all colleges.
As long as you have OFFICIAL reports for O’levels and AS results + predidcted ALevel results. Note that one of your main teachers will have to take on the role of “counselor” (the person who has access to your transcripts and will upload them along with describing your schooling situation) and another one (or other ones) will have to fill out the “teacher recommendations”, they have to be different.

Sorry i dont get what you mean by ‘upload’ ?
is he supposed to send them via mail to the college? or upload the recommendation, transcripts online ?

No, you’ll be using the Commonapplication (or/and universalapplication, or state application) and your counselor will upload the documents on forms for him/her there.
Look at
www.commonapp.org
for instance

Look to the college website to see if they have a separate application, but it is likely you will be using the college application for at least s ome schools. You might have some records to mail but most applications are entirely online now.

I don’t know how to school system works in your city, but try to contact a college guidance counselor at the local schools. Even if they aren’t great, they may know some info about applying to American schools. Sending things over the mail really doesn’t exist these days for most American schools. I suggest you create a list of schools that you like and check if they are on the commonapp.com. The other schools will have their own websites. You can choose to only apply to schools on the common app so its more simple.

When crafting your list of universities, you should go onto other forums on here and post your stats (grades and SAT or ACT score, TOEFL if it applies) and list and see what people think. Lots of people have good insight on CC.
