<p>So I'm getting a free flight out to Ithaca, NY because I got admitted to Cornell. ^_^ But here's the problem...I got admitted into Amherst College today (WHOO). They also offered me a free ticket out to the college!</p>

<p>The day they want me to come out to Amherst is the day the Cornell events end!</p>

<p>The Cornell Diversity Hosting Weekend is from April 10-12th. Students who rode a plane are said to leave around 5:30 Saturday (the 12th) in the afternoon. The Amherst invitation I received said students are expected to arrive to the campus Saturday afternoon on the 12th!</p>

<p>I want to go to both. :P Do you think this is possible? Cornell already booked a round-trip ticket for me. Do you think it would be possible to contact Amherst and somehow have it set up where I can leave from Ithaca? I've yet to contact Amherst, and I don't think I'll be able to until Monday.</p>

<p>You probably won't be able to until Monday but I think that Amherst will do its best to keep you, haha. You won't know until you try, at least.</p>

<p>From what I know, flights from Ithaca go only to NYC and couple more cities on the East Coast, but never to smaller airports. And there are very few flights altogether.</p>
