<p>I've started college apps, and I was wondering how I would fare, and where I have a chance.</p>
<p>I go to a competitive public high school that sends about 10-20 kids to HYPSM.</p>
<p>Here are my stats.</p>
<p>SAT: 680 CR, 800 Math, 710 Writing (2190 total, will retake)
SAT II: 800 Math II, 790 Chem (will take more later, such as Bio M, Physics and World History)
GPA: 3.7 Unweighted/ 4.2 Weighted
Rank: No Class Rank at School
APs: Chem (5), Calculus BC (5), AP Phys B(4)
Taking AP Bio, AP Physics C, AP Stat and AP Euro next year </p>
<p>Awards: Came in first in the school at the Massachusetts Mathematics Olympiad as a freshman (placed in top 50 in state, I place near the top in my school every year), 5th Place in HMMT Geometry, Was part of the Eastern Mass ARML Team that placed in 8th at Nationals, Various in-school subject Awards, Missed AIME by 1.5 points this year (Scored 4th Highest Score in School), I might also be a NMSF.</p>
<p>EC's/Leadership
- 2 Summers of research at Harvard Medical School/ BIDMC on radiology, also helped create a Radiology website
- Math Team Captain, Led team from 11th Place Finish to 6th Place Finish
- Part of Science Team, was part of the 1st place team (we always place in the top 5)
-Part of Model UN ( might be in a leadership position next year)
-I tutor middle school children in a neighboring town
- Volunteered over 100 hours at a local hospital in 10th Grade
-Did CTY as a rising sophomore
- 6 years of Clarinet and 1 year of Tenor Saxophone.</p>
<p>Recs should be good, since my english and math teachers like me, and my rec from my research advisor should also be very good.</p>
<p>I think I will do Applied Math or perhaps Bioengineering in college.
