Help me out PLEASE!!! with my Junior Year course selection!!!!!

So far I am sure I am taking:

AP Bio
AP Calc AB
AP US History
AP English Lang and Comp
Spanish IV
Jazz Band

Now comes the hard part....

I have one more class that I can choose, and I have the choice of taking:

Physics- I want to do engineering (comp sci) in college, and I know engineering colleges love to see Physics AP, which I can only do as a senior if I take Physics H this year

Intro to Computer Science- I am really interested in Comp. Sci., as stated above, and also a lot of my friends are taking this class. I have to take this class to qualify for AP Comp Sci as a senior, but I am not sure if I should do Physics instead of this

AP Human Geography- It's an AP Class that would boost my weighted GPA and look good on an application

Please Help guys... I need to make a decision in the next day!!!!!!!!

What are you majoring in?

^ OP said computer science

@DaneBrick

im majoring in comp sci

anyone?!!!

If you want to major in computer science, then, you should definitely take Intro to Comp Science. Don’t take APHUG for the GPA because the colleges see right through that. I’m not sure how Physics relate to Comp Science but if you really want to do it, then don’t do Jazz Band or one of the other courses.

Do you guys think colleges care about whether or not you took physics?

I wanted to take Physics next year, but my counselor said I don’t need it since it has nothing to do of what I want to do in the future , so I took that out and put Forensic Science in.

However, for engineering, Physics js probably that other class to take, it’s the origin of engineering.

If Intro to CompSci is a prereq of AP Computer Science A, then take that, it it’s not, I suggest Physics.

AP Human Geography has nothing to do with computer science, only take that if you have nothing else to take senior year.

HELP!!! SOMEONE!!

Some colleges like to see physics because it’s an advanced “elective” science class for most schools, so it shows initiative or whatever (because many schools only make students take science up to chemistry).
