I used to think I'd be going to a private school, but now it seems to me that more bigger schools offer what I'm looking for... Whether I like it or not.

I'm thinking a school with lots of pretty girls, access to the beach (maybe mountains, or both!), nice climate, good music scene with lots to, good social life (greek life) with some pot smoking, and a beautiful campus where I can learn alot.

I haven't gone on any college trips yet so I'm not really sure where I want to be (probably out west somewhere or down south), I don't know what it would be like being so far away from FL though..

Please throw me suggestions.

my GPA is around 3.2 UW and 3.7 W coming from a top 10 HS in FL.

varsity lacrosse, surfing, community service, good recs, good essays.

29 ACT is my highest score so far, but I'm hoping I can get up to around a 30 or a 1350.

not sure yet how big of a school, used to think like 5k but now not sure if there is enough of a selection of schools this size with everything i'm looking for.

If you’re thinking somewhere in California, I’d say maybe go for one of the UC’s. They’re big but they’re really good schools. UCSC seems to fit your description-- maybe a little more on the nouveau hippie side than what you’re looking for, but definitely great surf.

I don’t see what’s wrong with trying to have a little fun during study. Anyways, UCSC and U of San Diego are both good choices. Other recommendations: U of Miami, UVM, URI. The last having a nickname in our area “You are high” haha.

I forgot, Flagler College may be a good fit. They also have more girls on campus too, which is a plus. You may also like New College of Florida.

Never assume that you’ll get into a college because someone with similar stats did, your not that person, what made them unique, doesnt necessarily make you unique, college admission is more than just numbers.
