i'm doing a research paper on how college the college admissions process stresses out high school students... here is my question. please, this wotn take long, just as imple "yes" or "no" is FINE. I need as many responses as possible for my stats. THANK YOU!

Do you feel stressed out often because of how hard you work in and outside of school to meet admissions standards of certain colleges?
(that's kinda phrased wierd, i mean, just does schoolwork/meeting college admission standards stress u out?)

yes,
but taking a sample from CC.... there is an bias present on this board since people here generall aim for the highest level of achievement (eg best schools, most prestigious competitions...) I dont know how you are going to even out this bias....

Yes, I am stressed out. I feel like my life's worth is being judged through the medium of a few sheets of paper, some recommendations from people who know me only through my schoolwork, and activities that show, evidently by the number of titles I own, how much "leadership" I possess.

Actually, I renounce my statement since it is a result of typical anxiety compounded by perfectionist attitudes and a tendency to be flowery. It is an excuse to vent feelings that are completely tangential to the original poster's prompt. Not to mention, I am being unnecessarily POLYSYLLABIC!

Sort of. College admissions doesn't stress me at all. Its the school work that stresses me. SATs and applications are a breeze compared to my school work.

The way you said yes with all the "!!!!"s and the orange made it seem like you were happy, as in... "Yes!!!!! I got accepted!" kind of yes rather than a "Yes!!!! Of course it's stressful"
