I’m interested in becoming an engineering major.
I’m not as enlightened as most of you guys here on CC are so I wanted to ask:
for a list of good engineering schools that I could look into.
GPA - 3.6 (UW) / 4.0 (W)
SAT I - 2150 (650 CR, 750 M, 750 W)
SAT II - Math2 (800), Physics (720)
Course rigor - 8 honors and 8 APs throughout all 4 years of high school
Decent ECs.
I’d appreciate a good list of reach, match, and safety engineering schools based on my stats.
You can ignore size, location, and tuition fee.
Thanks!
Wow. If you want to ignore all those relevant things, you can do all the homework for stats of accepted students, say using collegedata.com and make a huge list, then sort for your own reach match safety. There are hundreds of schools that have good engineering. Think if each state has at least one flagship with very good engineering many will have several. And at least one top private. So already we are at a few hundred.
Yeah you’re going to need to have some more criteria. Right now anything from Penn State, Cal Fullerton, to UCLA are in your range, but you’re going to need to be much more specific. Use Big Future Search: https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/college-search
