Help me pick 4 schools !

I'm senior this year. I need to pick 4 schools and go for EA. So plz help me pick out the top 4 colleges that are best match for me as well as give me more chance to get into.
Boston College, Fordham, Georgetown, James Madison, Northeastern, UConn, U of Illinois at Urbana, Notre Dame, UNC at Chapel Hill, UNC at Charlotte, UNC at Wilmington, USF, Villanova, High Point, North Carolina state, UNC at Asheville, Elon, Loyola College in Maryland, Tulane.

Here's my stat:
International student from Asia. GPA about 4.0 weighted (about top 10%). SAT is about 1860 (Oct Test is the first time). EC is not much ( I've lived in US for just 2 years), but in freshmen and sophomore year in my country, ECs are decent. I'm interested in Business major/ Finance.

Oh I forgot to say: this year I can only take 2 AP classes, AP Bio and AP Cal. The rest are History and A&P H, Eng lv1. 2 years in US + my school doesn't offer many AP courses -> 2 is the most i can get

What are your top five criteria in looking for a college?

oh, strong finance department, campus in safe city, the tuition around 35k is the most (some of the schools above have 37k, 2k extra is fine), offering internship, easier to get a job after graduating

bump boom bump boom

for me, i'd probably pick georgetown (the hardest one), BC, UNC chapel, notre dame, and fordham, and villanova. fordham's in bronx, so idk if that's ur definition of a 'safe city'...

Fordham is a jesuit school. Don't know if that's your thing or not. I'd go UNC CH, BC, and Notre Dame and georgetown.

well nooob, if your saying that fordham is a jesuit school and the OP might not be okay with that.. so are georgetown and BC. and notre dame and villanova have an arguably more "catholic" presense on campus that any of those three. might want to take that into consideration, but its not a problem for most students

Oh, sorry I didn't know those other schools were jesuit as well. Now it makes sense to me though. My four suggestions for your EA remain the same, however.

Northeastern, Villanova, Tulane, Loyola. Your SAT scores are low for Notre Dame, Georgetown, Boston College, Chapel Hill, and UIUC.

how about James Madison ? Is it decent ?
Jesuit affiliated is not a matter to me. I'm pretty tolerant :D
I like to go to Fordham, Villanova and UIUC because I prefer to stay in NY, PA or IL. in order to be easy for me I'd try to improve SAT score.
furthermore, I just put Indiana U Bloomington into my list. On CB I see the acceptance rate is 70%. Is that appropriate for a college that has one of the best business program ? Or the information on CB is wrong ? The SAT required at IU Bloomington is not high as well.

bump bump bump

Let me clarify some of the remarks above for you. I do concur with above that your SAT is too low for Georgetown, Notre Dame, UNC-Chapel Hill (unless in state qualifying).

Tulane you are between reach and match. Call it high match or low reach. Its a great school. Pretty campus. Wonderful school spirit and a student body very much into service to others. New Orleans has issues, but that can be either an opportunity or a concern depending on how you approach it.

You are an excellent match for Elon, NCState, the other UNC schools, Villanova, Fordham, and Loyola.

Now, you have a choice between state schools, which are fine, and private schools which cost more but may have a more personal touch and better internships/connections in business.

Villanova and Fordham are very much on par. Either you prefer Philadelphia or New York. Fordham is a VERY safe campus. Its business college (CBA) on the Rose Hill Bronx campus is amazing, highly respected and has unbelievable internships. Dont listen to all that blather about the Bronx. Its a gorgeous campus, near the Bronx Zoo and New York Botanical Gardens. The Metro North train literally stops right at Fordham's gates and is a ten minute 4.00 ride into Manhattan at Grand Central Station. Fordham kids are very tight and look out for each other. You will be challenged there, but its not cut throat or overwhelming. An excellent broad based education. Great sports on campus, NCAA Div. 1

Loyola is also an excellent school in Baltimore, though just a notch below Fordham and Villanova in the prestige rankings. It sort of comes down to what you like about campus and what you are looking for.

'Nova is an outstanding school. Its not Jesuit. Rather, its run by the Augustinians. Great sports and school spirit. Good business school with also wonderful opportunities.

I told you about Elon on the Elon thread already.

That is my assessment.

James Madison has a good reputation. Many schools have higher requirements for entrance to the business program than for general admission. You often have to apply separately to the business program either as a high school senior or later as a freshman or sophomore at the university. This is true of U Maryland College Park and other schools. Maybe Indiana is similar- it may not be so easy to get in as a business student.

thanks for all suggestions
I've decided to pick these 5 schools to go for EA: Fordham, Villanova, James Madison, UIUC, Indiana Bloomington. I may change Elon for James Madison later on. I know georgetown and notre dame are too reach for me, thats why the 5 schools I choose are best fit for me I think. but the most important of all they all have business department/finance :D thats the most important I'm looking for.
I may need you guys help as I proceed to apply to those schools :D
