Help me pick a prom dress?

<p>Hello good people of CC, </p>

<p>I need help picking a prom dress. If you would please help me choose, that'd be awesome! </p>

<p>Also, I've never been to one of these "formal" dances. Are any of the dresses too casual? Should I match colors with my date?
If anyone has any advice for me, that'd be great.</p>

<p>I’m not a fan of #3. I LOVE the high-low of #4. #5 is pretty because the high-low is nice, but #4 is much prettier. #1 is nice but probably the least prom-y. #2 is gorgeous too. My favorites are #4 and #2.</p>

<p>Thank you for your input! That’s funny, I fully agreed with everything you said. My personal favorite is #2 but I’m afraid it might be too casual…?</p>

<p>I like 5 and 2 the best for prom dresses. At first I didn’t think 2 could be a prom dress, but after taking another look, I definitely think it could be a prom dress. I like 1, but yeah, I don’t really think that’s right for a prom dress.</p>

<p>As a guy, my favorite is 4. Typically, dates match. White is always a good color to match with. </p>

<p>I didn’t like 5 but it might have been because the girl modeling it is standing a bit weird. But if you have the shape/curves. That would be beautiful.
2 Is good. but I don’t know how you feel about exposing that much leg. From what I say, it looks like a bit short.
3 seemed a bit like a party/going out dress.
But i still like 4. For some reason, it reminds me of something a goddess would wear.

<p>I’d check out Betsey Johnson. They’re going out of business so everything is pretty cheap right now and they always have a ton of fun dresses.</p>

<p>As for how formal you need to be, that depends on your school. Some are more formal than others. And yes, you usually match with your date.</p>
