I'm looking into small liberal arts colleges in the Northeast. I have a 3.8 uw gpa & a 4.4 weighted gpa

I'm looking for:
-a low key party scene/not in your face
-top school with name recognition
-good career services & grad school placement
-a preppy feel but still with opportunities to take dance classes (but not too artsy/hipster)
-student body size 1000-6000
-northeast

I think few schools outside the top 20 have universal name recognition, and those that do are typically known for their research or their sports teams. Although I have no schools to suggest, I recommend you focus on fit rather than fame. Good luck!

I agree about Middlebury but it depends on your SAT scores. If you don’t have the scores for Midd, maybe Trinity or Conn College. We can’t really say without scores.

Franklin & Marshall offers a lot of dance opportunities for non-majors and has some nice dance facilities. Skidmore and the previously mentioned Connecticut College come to mind as well. Muhlenberg might also be of interest to you. Good luck in your search
