Hello. I am a Political Science major at Pasadena City College, a community college in Southern California. My GPA will be a 3.84 if I apply for Spring Transfer in 2017. I don’t know if I can submit a midyear report so that I can show my grades in the fall semester, the semester that I would be applying because if I can get a 4.0 around that time, then my GPA could be bumped up to 3.88. Anyways, my high school GPA is not so good; I had a 3.33 GPA. I did not take the ACT or SAT at all, but I heard that is fine if I’m applying for junior level standing because they don’t need SAT or ACT scores. My extracurriculars in college are ok: President of the Honors Club, Vice President of the Honors Society, Staff Writer for the college’s newspaper. My extracurriculars are ok as well: Secretary of the Speech and Debate Club, ran cross country, Peer Listener, Link Leader. If I put in enough time and effort, as well as get enough help, I probably can write a great essay. I’ll ask the professors I’m most closed to for letters of recommendations. Yeah… I think that is all. Can someone please tell me what my chances are? I really do not want to be at my school for any longer, so I really hope that spring transfer would work. If not, I guess I can apply in the fall??
I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE READING THIS, BUT WHY ARE YOU NOT RESPONDING. THIS IS REALLY IRRITATING ME.
You sound like you have a pretty good chance.
