Help me please to understand this ACT

What is on the math part do I need pre-cal to do well?
What is on the science part? graphs, ect...
How hard is it to get a 30? What is the limit to the wrong answers one can get in order to get that?
How harsh is the curve?
Is there vocab like the SAT?

Finally: What book is good for practice?

No need for pre-calc.
Basic, basic stuff. Just review your old Pre-Algebra, Basic Math, Geometry, Algebra 1, and Algebra II books.

you need to know trig.

The curve is pretty harsh at the top (30-36) then it levels out at the middle (20-30) and is very generous from the bottom (1-19).

The ACT is mainly how well you do compared to how well other people do on one specific test.
