How much money do you and your family have available to pay for your education?

What part of the country would you like to be in?

Do you want a big school, a small school, or something in between?

Do you want an urban, rural, or some other kind of environment?

Do you care if your school has a religious affiliation, and if so which affiliation(s) are desirable/undesirable for you?

How will you get to and from school each day/month/semester/year, and is the cost and/or ease of transportation important to you?

thats sort of out there, cheapest at all costs of course, but im hoping for scholarships

i'd like to be north-east or mid-west, but im flexible

im pretty sure i'd like an urban environment

don't care about religous affiliation

plan to live on campus, dont have a car, transportation is not that huge of an issue for my family- able to drive anywehre

"cheapest at all costs of course, but im hoping for scholarships"

Sit your parents down. Have them read everything at:
FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid
and
FinAid! Financial Aid, College Scholarships and Student Loans

Read all of this stuff yourself, too.

Then talk with them, I mean REALLY TALK WITH THEM, about the money.

Everything else you can put into one of the college-search engines on the internet and come up with a list. But the hard cold truth is that money can be a deal breaker. Find out your family's truth now.

Wishing you all the best.

In which state do you live?
