Help me rank these undergraduate business programs

I'm looking at Virginia Tech, James Madison University, University of Colorado at Boulder, and Colorado State (Ft. Collins). The problem is, the rankings vary so much between US News and Businessweek. how do you think they rank against one another?

thanks

I’d put more weight on US News, personally. I don’t know what BusinessWeek uses to rank them, but whatever it is, it doesn’t line up with how employers view the program as well as US News. I think the ones that provide better employment opportunities should be higher ranked, so I pay a lot more attention to US News.

I know a bit about the James Madison program and feel that it is a very strong program. The problem with it, and perhaps other programs, is that you don’t generally get automatically admitted to the business school. You would have to have at least a minimum GPA of I think 2.7,but don’t quote me on this. Frankly, I would rarely consider a program that I would have to first qualify for as a result of my freshmen GPA. If you don’t meet this minimum, what are your options?

if you can’t even maintain a 3.0 in University Division before stepping foot in the b-school…what are your options?

Not all schools have pre-qualifications for Business programs. There are MANY choices that don’t have these pre-qualifications such as both Bentley University and Babson College and among other colleges and universities.
