Ok so I got my sat scores back and I am devastated. This was the third time I took it
jan 2010- cr: 660 math:540 writ: 580
Jun 2011- cr: 600 math:580 writ: 580
Dec 2011- cr: 680 MATH:470 writ: 620
Basicly I was upset by my math score. My question is will colleges take my single best scores, or did they fluctuate to much?

Colleges look at all your scores, but they will focus on your latest one. Try to retake the test and improve on your previous score (in all sections).

You could superscore, but since colleges look at what you get in a single sitting, it’s best not to have wildly fluctuating scores. You should be fine if you study enough-since you’ve already gotten high scores in each section (on separate occasions), you can do it again.

Colleges fall into two groups for what they use in determining admission: those that superscore, meaning they use the highest section scores from multiple tests, and those that use that test with the highest composite score. They are then divided into whether you can send the SAT test you feel like sending or require all scores. Thus. you should check the rules for each college to which you intend to apply and if you do not want to do that, just send all as that will comply with all colleges’ rules.
