Help Me!! Senior Courses...

Okay, so I have found out that senior year is by far the hardest year of high school. It's only my second week of school and I'm already swamped with work. I've been literally pulling all nighters each night(not really, but staying up 'till 12, like I'm sure everyone on this board does). I'm about to crash and burn. My schedule:

-AP Chemistry
-AP English
-AP Government
-AP Spanish
-Honors Calculus

I have two study periods and a lab block within my schedule as well. I'm considering dropping Chemistry, and I'm wondering if dropping an AP is really going to affect my admissions. Ideally I'd like to attend Hamilton College...but I don't think killing myself this year is even worth it. If I dropped Chem and took, say, Asian Studies(an elective), would it appear as if I'm taking an 'easy' year?

I know that sounds crazy since I am taking 3 other AP, but with only 4 major classes...how are they going to view this? Thank you all so much!

dropping a class is never a good thing. you don't want your GC putting that on your evaluation. I'd just tough it out.

highly selective colleges prefer at least five academic classes each year. Think about it this way, in 12 months you will, hopefully, be living in Clinton NY taking the equivalent of ~8 AP classes.....

Thanks. I've decided not to drop anything.

Hamilton College isn't "highly selective". I don't think it would be the world if you dropped Chem.
