This is from collegeboard online course practice test #1, section 3.</p>
<p>I'm not even that bad at math, I scored 700+ on my sat math and math ii. The obvious choice would be A. 0, but if it were that easy I wouldn't be making this thread...</p>
<p>IMO, there's a lot of useless information given. The roots are given to you (why?) and in the explanation; it reads "Since k is a constant, this is true for all values of x, not merely 7 and 2." It's a quadratic function, how exactly is k constant for all values of x? It's impossible.</p>
<p>Anyway, I hope I'm not having a darren moment right now and that I'm missing something blatantly obvious.</p>
