Where would the material discussed here be generally discussed elsewhere, especially on the internet? I just want to find a resource online to study these things.
My son spends his summers on Coursera, a MOOC site. You can take a variety of free courses at varying levels in computer science as well as many other subjects. I did a course on data analysis using R. It was excellent.
That course appears to be an overview of computer architecture (digital logic, processors, assembly), compilers, and computer networks.
