hello i want to know what kind of engineering field i should go to.
my absolute worst subject is chemistry but my as for biology and other sciences i do well usually high B to mid A and math is my best subject and i want to be an engineer primarily focusing on my abilities, what kind of engineer should i be

Of course, since you HATE chemistry then dont go for ChemE. Perhaps you should go to ME (Mechanical Eng), Civil E, Eng. Physics, CS, etc…whatever works for you, No Fear.

what about biomedical it sounds really interesting and i heard there is a good outlook on it

I was in BME (Bio-Medical Eng) but I found out that I did not like Biology (boring, etc) though I got A on Bio. Now I am in ME doing dual program Physics and ME. BME however still requires chemistry and Bio; if you can handle the chem then it will be OK.

Also, BME requires high GPA at least 3.4 cumulative and above to continue to grad school or Phd. If the GPA is mediocre then forget BME. For lack of better word, I call BME is Medical School wanna-be since it requires high GPA and lots of Bio to begin with. In fact, BME is also a stepping stone into Med. School. More importantly, to have better career in BME, you need Phd…yes Phd not Master or Undergraduate.

Well, one can find work with Undergraduate and Master but most of BME jobs are doing research and Phd is a must thing to do.

Then again, If you put your mind and focus nothing is impossible and who knows perhaps BME is for you?..

BME does not pay well on it’s own. It is great combined with an MD title but for that you’ll need a super high GPA. Computer E is one of the best paying eng jobs. My son is going to Engineering school but he applied undeclared. This will give time to decide which field of Engineering he likes the most.
