Hello! I've been having issues with the Critical Reading section which I'm not sure how to eliminate. When attacking the CR section this is my strategy:

Long Passages/Double Passages.
1. Check questions for line references/paragraph references. Mark them on the passage by putting a bracket around the specific section.
2. Read the blurb.
3. Read the passage.
4. When a line number approaches, focus carefully on the meaning and check if I can answer the question.
5. Answer the question if I can.
6. Continue reading and answer line number questions.
7. Answer general questions.

Short Passages:
1. Read.
2. Answer.

I usually don't make any mistakes on the short passages, but I tend to make mistakes on the medium-hard long passages. The easy passages are amazing and I tend to miss one, maybe two questions due to stupid mistakes or time ran out and I couldn't double check the questions I had a slight doubt about. The medium-hard passages always trip me up. At times I'll miss two or three questions, but I will usually miss 5 or 6 questions per section. So with my mistakes I usually end up in the mid-600s.

Time is not an issue for me. In sections with only one long passage, I usually end up with 5-6 minutes left. And those are usually the sections with the easy passages.

I've taken 4 CR sections today, with 3 from Practice Test 7 of the BB. I ended up missing 2 questions in section 2, 0 in section 5, and 6 in section 8. I'm not sure how to reduce the number of mistakes I make to a point where I'm in the 700+ range. Any tips?
