Everyone, even if you have perfect grades and perfect test scores needs to find one "true safety". That is a school that is required to admit you based on your grades, test scores, or some other criterion AND that you can pay for with no financial aid other than federally determined financial aid. This probably will be one of your home state public universities, or if money is a really big issue, your local community college. Check the websites of your home state public Us to see what their admission requirements are. With your stats, I'm guessing that at least one of them would give you automatic admission.

Once you have identified this "true safety" you can go looking for places that are more more interesting to you because of your major, the weather, the girls/boys, the sports, the buildings, the reputation, etc., etc. BUT you do need that one true safety in the bag in case everything else in your life, the admissions process, and the US economy goes wrong.

And, be sure that you know your immigration status. Even if you have good grades and good exam scores, the rules change completely if you aren't a US citizen or permanent resident.

In which state do you live?

Fordham, Rochester, Vanderbilt, U of Kansas, Clark U., Indiana, Iowa, Emory, U of Miami, Miami of Ohio, U of Oregon.

i am a permanent resident, and i live in ny, sorry left those out

SUNY College of Human Ecology and/or SUNY College of Ag and Life Sciences at Cornell University. Both great places to do pre-med.

You are in state. If you consider Cornell, you will save wads of money by attending one of the public divisions there.

thanks for the advise, bump
