Help me with me SCEA choice!

I've decided to go SCEA at one of my reach schools, either Stanford or Yale. They're similarly difficult to get into, so I'm collecting opinions on where I should go. A completely anonymous internet audience seems like a good bet for that.

Mom votes Yale (claims the Aisian conpetition at Stanford makes it impossible to distinguish yourself)

Dad votes Stanford (claims Yale is too monied and I wouldn't be happy there)

The teachers writing my recomendations both said that it comes down to whether I prefer a socially liberal atmosphere (Stanford) or an intellectually and academically liberal atmosphere (Yale).

I love tennis and I love to learn, I'm interested in almost every field. History is my strongest subject, though not necesarily my favorite. I feel like I have a small but decent shot at each institution (I'll spare you my stats).

I'm just looking for general advice on what people feel like the major differences are and perhaps where the quality of life is better. I know each is strong in almost every area, which is good because I'm not really sure what I want to major in.

Thanks in advance!

Stanford also takes a way higher percentage of Asians.

Since both institutions are academically amazing, I would probably make my choice based on location. Connecticut and California are pretty much on opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of the weather, general feel of the atmosphere, and the type of people in the surrounding areas.
