Help me with my College List!! (I'm starting to get deparate? lol)

I'm a junior, so of course the most popular question I've been hearing lately is "What colleges are you looking at?" I honestly don't know what to say; I had a list of colleges that I narrowed down but now I'm not sure about them. My parents want me to apply early senior year (I'm hoping to get apps done ASAP so I don't have to do it during school).

Can you help me add possible colleges to my list? So far I have Pitt, American U., Mercyhurst (PA), and Tulane.

About Me: I either want to go to school around PA, or in the South(east). I'm interested in Psychology and languages, especially Russian and Arabic (kinda hoping to find a school with at least a Russian major and lot of Arabic classes). I don't want a school in the middle of nowhere, but don't want to be smack-dab in the middle of a city (Pitt and Tulane's locations are the exceptions). I want a school where I can make close friends, and get a really good education because I want to go to grad school then join the FBI.

SATs: 1990: 690 M, 680 W, 620 CR ------> going to retest and raise it
GPA: will be around 3.9 - 4.0 when i graduate
Rank: best guess, top 12% or higher. won't know until this may
I need good FA...

Any ideas???

why not Penn state? George Washington. UMD. Wake Forest or UNC or UVA (kinda reaches) or Georgetown (high reach, If the rest of your app is good). Maybe William and Mary(they have a general Linguistics major, but not russian).

I’m from Va, so in VA, people with your scores would consider VaTech.

might i suggest using collegeboard’s search engine. You can enter your score and compare them to other universities, very easily.
[College Search - Find colleges and universities by major, location, type, more.](<a href=“College Search - BigFuture | College Board”>College Search - BigFuture | College Board)

If you wanted to improve your application, i would start with the SAT CR score, especially considering that you are focusing on languages. If your essays are all about how much you love languages, and the major, then they see that score, They will be put off.

good luck.
