Ok so I need to start my speech the principle has been razing me about it. So I need to start but I am indecisive about with type of speech I want to talk about. I want to do an honest speech to sum up what i think about the future, in which I implicitly call out majority of the students as wasting lazy moochers. But I feel that the speech that I had written about that will be shot down

So I need to decide on whether I should write a funny speech or one that is serious and pertains to the fragility of life.

Ayudame por favor!

Don’t take the insulting route. It disrespects your school and the students, especially on a “memorable” and happy day. The route I went was the funny one. Some name dropping and thanking, with some more name dropping. It makes the speech more personal. At the end however, I left with a message to the students, and closed it all off with another funny comment.

I would recommend my method.

This is like that episode of Modern Family (I was just watching it) where the girl has to give a graduation speech and she doesn’t know which way to go.

Don’t be stuffy about it! Give a fun and cliche speech because that’s what your fellow classmates deserve to have - a typical, mundane graduation which preferably doesn’t refer to them as “wasting lazy moochers”

Also, end it with a line from a famous song like “let’s get this party started woooo”

I thil I want to do one on the joy of life… or is this too cliche.
