Help me with senior schedule?

I'm currently a junior taking all core classes. My school isn't rich and we have very few APs. This year I'm taking AP Psych, AP Lang, and AP Gov. Next year here is what is available. *note classes are subject for change next year if fewer than 8 people sign up or principal decides to cancel class for a support class. AP Stat, AP Calc, AP Bio, AP US History, AP World History. At my school we have the accelerated math program that essentially allows one to finish 4 years of math in 3 years. I was in this program until 1st 9 weeks of junior year. I am alright at math, but don't have a solid foundation due to past teachers that were bad. So I had a B+ sophomore year and B - freshman year. Junior year(this year) I had to drop 1st 9 weeks because I had a low C. I understood the concepts, but no matter how much I seemed to study, I would end up doing bad on the tests. I really want to take AP Calc next year, but I'm not sure due to me not learning enough in regular math. What should I do? What classes should I take out of those AP's? Also I'm very sorry for the long posts. I'm sure it must be dreadful to read. :(

I also forgot to mention AP Lit. Please help me out. Also we have physics which is a senior class (regular physics), but the teacher teaches it like its an AP class. I’m very good at sciences except Chemistry which I’m having trouble maintaining a 92-94 honors by the way.

I’m not sure about the math because my school’s math program is just really weird so I can’t help you with that. However, I would go with AP Bio and AP World because, at least at my school, AP US is extremely difficult. Not because it is a hard subject, but because my school requires extensive outlining AND a quiz before you even talk about a chapter in class. And World is much more interesting, it is a sophomore AP at my school, all the sophomores in “advanced history” self study for it and do fine. But all in all, I’d ask your teachers what the course is like so you can decide.

But as for math, if I had to choose I’d go with stats because it is more “applied” that calculus. Take that if you did great in Algebra II/Trig (or math B, whatever you call it)

good luck! :)

Thanks. I talked to my AP psych teacher today (she also teaches AP US History and AP World) she’s a very rigorous teacher. Her tests are very hard, ambiguous, and actually require more than just reading the chapter. She told me to go with World because of the other classes’ course load. As for Calc an Stat, my school’s Stat teacher is very notorious for being bad at teaching. ( she teaches accel math2, and I ha a B+ in there). So I’m still contemplating between Calc and Stat.
