help me with the english seccion!

<p>i got a 20 on english section in last june. i am now preparing for oct's ACT. i did the three practice tests in the red book, but i got 22,20,18! </p>

<p>what can i do to improve my score? i m thinking to other practice tests on other study books like PR, KAPLAN, BARRON'S... but my SAT tutor told me that those book dont really help you, they might get you into some bad habits..... </p>

<p>so what should i do???? any suggestions?? thanks!!</p>

<p>i'd prep more...that's it...by prepping i raised my score from 24 (on a old practice test taken in school in a act enviornment) to 32...</p>

<p>i can only study for 20 days.... 25th is the test day, T-T.</p>
