From the big blue book:

sqrt(x^2-t^2)=2t-x
IF x and t are positive numbers, what is the value of x/t?

I'm lost after
sqrt((x+t)(x-t))=2t-x

Wasn't the solution to this posted earlier today?

Square both sides: x^2 - t^2 = 4t^2 - 4tx + x^2
from which 4tx = 5t^2
or x/t = 5/4

I was going to respond, but while was preparing visual explanation, you
received a more succinct answer. If you want a further explanation you
can look here.

thank s:)
