Help me within the SAT

I actually took my SAT (first one) last May and I got 1340 ! :(( and now I'm applying for October and I seriously need more than 2000 score or exactly more than 1300 inc. reading and math only.

I seriously need any advice or plan that I can work on !! please I could work for 12 hours a day seriously I can do any thing to get it in October !

Please help please !

You aren’t going from a 1300 to a 2000. Why do you need more than a 2000? What school are you interested in?

Hmm. You’re a little vague, but if it’s what I think and you need to improve about 700 points on the entire thing, that’s a realllly big task. Like, practically impossible. Most people don’t improve more than a couple hundred points, and that’s with work. If you took it in May, you should have already started working to improve at least a little. Best thing I can say is, be realistic and start prepping. Like ASAP. Start with smaller scores to work towards, maybe a hundred points more. Buy a prep book or two, really start reading and keep studying until you reach them. Then bump up the goals a little higher.

I think it’s A. The question doesn’t give you enough information on the specific value of k. So you can’t just choose -5 when k can be 8. If it said k is negative or positively then you’d be able to choose between them.

I need to apply for CS and I also need to apply for financial aid.

Try the ACT - you might score significantly higher on it.
For the SAT, read silverturtles and xiggis guides on CC. Buy the blue book and do a lot of practice tests. Buy a few review books and read them thoroughly. Do a LOT of practice questions. There are many threads on CC about which books to buy for each section - check them out.
What is your breakdown?

Oh god I posted in the wrong thread! Ignore my post above.
