hi guys!
sooo. my highschool career is basically going down the toilet. and i'm realllly freaked out.

my gpa from freshman year: 2.85
soph year: 3.05
junior year: 3.21-but if i get a C in one of my classes it will be the same as above, 3.05
senior year:4.0 (taking classes i'm actually good at)
my honors/ap's
geometry honors
chem honors
La2 honors
American Studies 1 honors
Physics honors
APUSH
AP Lang
pre-calc honors
french 4 honors
AP Bio
Ap Calc AB
LA semester courses-honors
i've mostly gotten b's...
my overall gpa before senior year grades is like...basically a 3. (this is all unweighted btw)
however, with senior grades it's about a 3.3
what are my chances at Rutger's?
I'm in-state, thank god, and applying as a piano performance major.
my ACT score:34 w/writing
played piano for 8 years
played violin-privately for two
but have been in the orchestra for 9 years
I used to sing Indian Classical music, I have my own club called charity for life, which supplies money for third world schools
I am also starting a cancer awareness campaign in rural india this summer
I was a winner in a composition competition, and played in Carnegie Hall.
I was examined in the ABRSM program for grades 6, 7, and 8, I had a "passed with distinction" for grades 7 and 8. I also participated in the Silesia Piano festival (poland) in 2008, the summer before freshman year started.
i've participated in Debate Club, Junior Statesmen of America, Yearbook, Orchestra (string ensemble, the middle orchestra, and also Philoharmonia-the highest orchestra)
i was in the student council senior year
i was also historian for the orchestra senior year as well.
Since i'm majoring as a piano performance major, i know a huge part of my admissions will be from my audition, i'm not too worried about that.
however... what are my chances at Rutger's NB and BU? i'm from NJ, at one of the top competitive schools in the state.
i'm also applying to UC irvine, and Davis, where their GPA is calculated with weight and only from soph and junior year, but i'm not sure anymore.
i'm solely focusing on music to get into a decent university, and would really like to know if i should be super worried about getting into school...
