So I'm looking at colleges and I have no idea where to start. I'm really ambitious and I'm a good writer, so I'd like to know where I can go. I'm a rising senior at Brooklyn Technical High School, so common app is already up and I need to get started. If someone could look this over and give me some tips and colleges to look into, I would really appreciate it.

Right now, I'm looking at Williams College, Amherst College, and UChicago.

Here are my stats:

Cumulative Unweighted Average:
94.48

SAT
630 reading
760 math
770 writing
2160 total
I'm going to try to re-take my SATs so I can get my reading up to at least 700. But I won't make it in time for ED (I don't know which school I'm going to ED to)

SAT IIs
My scores for US History and Math II are both currently under 700, but I'm going to try to pull both up to at least 700. I also plan to take the SAT II for Lit. If you guys could recommend some books for me to look into or just some general tips, that would be really helpful.

APs

Human Geography - 4
Those were the AP classes I took junior year. This year, I'm taking AP Psychology, AP English Literature, and AP Calculus BC

Clubs

Vice President (Freshman year only)

Recommendation Letters

Junior year AP English Language and Composition teacher, ended with a 95 in the class

Interests

Basically, I just want to try new things. Honestly, I want to get into college to learn and have a great experience. But at the same time, I still want to be prepared for the future.

Job experience
Worked at a summer camp as a teacher's assistant the summer of my sophomore year, received Best Volunteer Award - mentioned in a widely circulated Chinese newspaper, Sing Tao.
Currently interning at an advertising agency as a copywriter and I'm the youngest and first intern they took from the organization I'm a part of, Ladders for Leaders.
This summer, I was interviewed and published in two Chinese newspapers - Sing Tao and World Journal - because I was one of eight that won a contest sponsored by American Airlines through Ladders. The contest was for a pair of round trip airline tickets to any college of my choice for visiting.
