I have a pathetic high school record.

I used to cut classes when i was a sophomore and

I ended up with 13 Fs.

and I spent 5 yrs. at hs.

However, the last two years were successful

as I was ranked in top 3% for junior year

and #5 in 900 students school for my senior year (not cumulative)

My SAT score is 710/800/780.

and College Gpa is 4.0 so far with 42credits completed.

a rising sophomore this fall.

I have participated in AIME in my senior year of HS.

and won award for Fed Challenge.

I founded three clubs at HS and dedicated myself to it.

One of the strenghts I have is my senior year AP Exam record, having taken five courses and self studied three, I had six 5s and 2 4s.

Also, I have two months of internship during summer (300hours) at CPA's office and two months of internship at prestigious I-Banking firm which amounts to almost 500hours.

With that said, If I keep up with my 4.0 GPA this fall, will I be able to transfer to my dream school (University of Chicago)?

My current school is CUny- Baruch, a typical third tier school.

My majors are economics and statistics.

I really have changed and matured a lot from my bad times but I'm still afraid it will wreck my admission opportunity.

I already wrote an essay about the change I went through.

In your opinion, how do you think I would be seen before adcoms?

My Top Choice is University of CHicago (I love this school)

2 is Northwestern, Dartmouth

3 NYU-Stern

Do you guys think this is gonna be a waste of my time, and what is infinitely worse, my application fee?
