<p>alright, so this is my first time on here so i have no idea if im posting this in the right place but im guessing. im sorry if im wrong...</p>
<p>so my problem is that i dont know of colleges that i think i will get into. i go to a very prestigious private school and all my friends have very high gpa's. im a junior and my freshman and sophomore years, my family had been going through incredibly hard things that in turn, made my grades suffer a lot. my gpa is quite low (around a 2.6) from those two years and im having a hard time this year catching up. on the bright side, i have higher SAT scores (around 2000) but i have been told that colleges care more about your gpa than your sat scores. </p>
<p>because i go to such a prestigious school, i feel like i dont know of many colleges that will accept me. my college counselor told me im going to have a hard time getting into many of the schools i want to apply to and it worries me. what schools might be a good fit for me?</p>
