So I e-mailed georgetown university that I dropped a class but, I put UC Berekley in the "Dear __ University" part of the email. Is that going to hurt me a lot? I wrote again saying I apologized and it was a mistake. Will that really hurt me? Are they going to think, "OK well obviously she doesn't want to go to our school". AHHH WHAT DO I DO?

UHH>…

There is nothing you can do now; emails sent and you apologized. Any more apologizing and that’ll hurt you, so remain calm. It may or may not hurt you, depending on if they record the email onto your file.

Yes, it will hurt you. Let’s have some realism, yeah?

Don’t worry about it. It’s not a big deal.

It’s not like they’re going to tag your file with “mistakenly emailed us with a copy of the one they used for UC Berkeley”, and there’s simply no way anyone is going to remember that one email and connect it with you when you’re considered.

I think it wouldnt matter because its an email about dropping a class. If it was an admissions question or an essay I’d be more worried.

Just Relax :D
