<p>I wrote the name of an honor won incorrectly. I wrote that I won an award for a different region in the U.S. than where i actually won it in. </p>
<p>Will this matter?? Should i email colleges to correct it????</p>
<p>Frankly, I don’t think it will really make a big difference whether you listed the award as won in a different region.I think adcoms will simply focus on what is clear: you won an award! Besides, they’ll probably assume based on your schools location and your address that the award was won from a diff. region. </p>
