<p>Hey guys! So my friend is freaking out about college admissions. She has a 3.8 GPA, 1920 SAT, 32 ACT, great EC's, and even better essays. I realize her stats are sub-par on this site. But, I recommended schools like Northeastern, BU, BC, GWU, Fordham, American, NYU, Villanova, CMU, Lehigh.</p>
<p>Any thoughts? Recommendations?</p>
<p>Does she have a geographic location preference?
Does she need major financial aid?
What is she looking into majoring in?
Does she want a small, medium or large school?
What type of school environment (party, Christian, etc…)?</p>
<p>East coast, No FA, preferably large but small-med isnt bad (depends on schools, bio major (like me!) and no real scene but party is preferable.</p>
<p>How high can her family go? 60k each year? or somewhat less than that? </p>
<p>Has she run any of the college-matching search engines?</p>
<p>What has her guidance counselor suggested?</p>
<p>How serious is she about that “party is preferable” bit? If that’s really what she wants to be doing, she shouldn’t go to college just yet.</p>
