I'm applying ED to Johns Hopkins.
My counselor submitted incorrect transcript of mine on CommonApplication with the grade in AP Chemistry indicated as B, while I should have A in that class.
So, my counselor, who is not that experienced in school counseling, had to fax an updated transcript to Johns Hopkins about a month ago with the grade in AP Chemistry adjusted to A.
I called JHU admission office this morning, inquiring whether they have received my updated transcript and they gave me an uncertain answer suggesting that just in case, I have my counselor send the updated transcript once again. But my counselor insisted that she has sent the updated transcript and says that it will be too late even if she fax it now.
I'm so stressted now because of this. This can totally ruin my chance of getting in?! :(
That JHU admission will look at my faxed-transcript is doubtful because applications are looked over online and there is a possibility that my faxed-paper transcript isn't part of my application file!
What should I do?? I've already sent an additional e-mail to JHU regarding this issue but i haven't got an aswner yet..............
.............. Help me!!!!

Relax: The difference between an a or b in ap chem is not going to be the tipping point.
There is a very good chance the change was received and noted. There is a good chance that the person you spoke to on the phone did not have access to your file; they are in committee right now I think. And although they can review your app online my understanding is that they do print them out and include other information (fax etc).

A few more days you will know. Good luck.

While all admissions applications are viewed online,I believe this is done through a system in which all paperwork that is received is scanned into the system and associated with a student’s application, so odds are that the updated transcript did in fact make it into your application file. I agree with dadwonder’s advice: relax and don’t worry about it too much. It’s highly probably that your transcript did in fact make it into your file, and it’s highly highly unlike that the difference between an A and a B is going to make any significant difference in the admissions process.

Good luck!

I got an e-mail from Hopkins that they have recieved my updated transcript!

OHHHHH I’m so happy
