HELP - Name any school that's reachable

Hello,

This is regarding transfer admissions.

I goto Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ.

College GPA: 3.68
SAT1: 1300 (math 680, verbal 620)
SAT2: Writing 660, Math 1 C 720
HS GPA: B

Based on just above numbers, please list some good and reachable as well as reach schools for me.

Possible schools such as:

BC
NYU

and what are my chances?

seems like you have a good chance

What do you mean? good chances at NYU and BC?

But which school of NYU? Stern? lol or CAS or Gallatin?

You have a good chance at most schools, especially any public schools. U michigan, Cal, SUNY etc

I think his GPA and test scores are a little weak for the top publics. He can likely get into all the SUNYs and probobly Rutgers but UMich and the top UCs are all reaches.

OK, if my spring semester grades count, my GPA shoots up to 3.71

you could easily get into Cornell

or Dartmouth. Look at all of the "minor Ivies" Dartmouth, Cornell, Brown, UPenn

um...are you guys kidding me? i stand nowhere near Cornell or Dartmouth...aren't they way even..."un-thinkable" considering my stats?

my ECs:

I have my own Limited Liability Company and my company sells patented self-illuminating in-line skating wheels

some dull ecs like i've been to foreign country to volunteer at a prison

i had 17 credits, and i recently finished 23 credits

and btw, i was wrong, i will have 3.746 or 3.75 GPA if my spring semester counts into my cumulative

Even the "minor Ivies" don't accept that many transfers. Stevens TEch is a good school but nowhere in the range of the "Minor Ivies." Transfering with a 4.0 GPA would be a stretch. However, he still has a shot at some very good schools.

Please reply to me in this format for I urgently need...: thanks in advance

5 Reach schools (25%)

5 Match schools (50/50)

5 Safety schools (75%)

If you want tech schools, Carnegie Mellon would probably take you.

The reason i am transfering out is that I do not want too narrow curriculm of Stevens...I want to learn some other disciplines as well...

though, I do not want to attend LBA schools...

So anybody? please help me here :)

what major are you interested in, because certain colleges are better at each major. and maybe tell us what kind of college you prefer ie. small or big, urban or rural, does cost matter, are you applying for fin aid...etc

Test scores don't matter for transfers to UCs.
