I initially wanted to do a business finance major but everyone I've been talking to has urged that I try something else (something more tangible). I know I want to get an MBA (how long do you need to work before you can apply to MBA schools?).

If I don't get into the few business schools I'm applying to (some of the top 10 ones) then I plan on majoring in some kind of biology-related major but I'm unsure which one to do. I want to work for biotech or pharmaceutical companies but I was wondering what other jobs are available. I'm also unsure which major to choose. I'm trying to decide between biomedical engineering, bioengineering, biotechnology, pharmacy, and molecular biology. Are there any other similar majors to those? Also, what jobs can I get from each major. Are there any undergrad rankings for them? I don't plan on getting a graduate degree in any science since I'm going to try for an MBA. Also, would you recommend dual majoring between undergraduate business and one of those above-mentioned majors? What about minoring in one and majoring in the other?
