Hello. I recently became interested in Holy Cross, and I was disappointed to find out that I missed the deadline to interview. I know Holy Cross places a lot of emphasis on the interview so I'm worried that I'm going to be at a significant disadvantage in the regular decision process. I plan on visiting Holy Cross over February break, and I have e-mailed the admissions office about my desire to meet with/talk to an admissions counselor when I visit. Is there anything else I should be doing to demonstrate interest? Am I totally out of the running for acceptance due to my lack of an interview? :/

We flew into HC, met with various admissions personnel, interviewed and applied ED; yet denied. They hold true to their low acceptance rate, its a fact. I found not much advantage on going ED. S got accepted at other good colleges without HC ED expected advantage. HC might be a great College but we are happy and assured with the other choices being accepted.

HC doesn’t actually value interviews that much, at least I don’t think. My alumni interviewer didn’t know what to ask and didn’t really take notes. He was cool though!
