Hi there. I want to know whether or not I should retake my SAT. I have gotten a 780 on math (June...750 October), 700 CR (June/October) and a 790 Writing (October) giving me a superscore of 2270 and single sitting of 2240. I did retake last Saturday, but I marked my answers in the wrong section (i.e. for section 7, I put my answers in section 8)!!! I felt really good about this SAT (estimated: 800W, 780 M, 750 CR), but had to cancel. Now I can retake in January. Should I retake so that I can bump up my CR about 50ish??? OR does it not make any sense? Thanks!

bump… anyone care to help me out?? :)

Ooh, that’s a real bummer. If you have taken the test 3 or less times and feel that you can do better, go ahead. If you’ve already taken it 4 times or more and are not going to an engineering/math school, I’d keep it. Are you a senior, junior, or sophomore? (I’m guessing senior…)

I am a senior. I would like to major in biology. All of my schools will allow me to take the test in January except Rice.
