Could someone please give me a list of need-blind schools??
I need up-to-date info..
I graduate in 2015, and I need this year's info.

Oh, and if you could be an angel and add a list of schools that offer large amounts of FA to international students.

I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH!!

Most schools are “need blind”. That’s not the issue. What you’re wanting are schools that are “need blind” and “meet need”. And, you need schools that are “need blind” and will “meet need” for int’ls.

That is not going to be a long list.

you might check the Int’l forum. There’s probably a list there.

Thank you for your help!

Yale (need blind) meets 100% of demonstrated need with no loans. International students are included.

^^^

But are int’l students in their own pool? Are they in a pool by country? Or are all applicants treated as “location blind”?

Actually, the OP shouldn’t care if a school is need-blind; meets-full-need is indeed what’s important. There’s no reason not to apply to an otherwise attractive need-aware school that meets full need.

The problem with Yale and similar schools is that close to zero percent of internationals wanting admission will be accepted. :(

Vossron is right, need-blind is nice, but a need-aware school will nonetheless meet the full need of an accepted international student if it is their policy to do so.

Here’s the Wikipedia list of need-blind and meet-full need for international students. These shouldn’t, though, be the only schools the student considers, as vossron says. And these are very difficult schools to be admitted to, but the list seems to be up-to-date as far as I can tell.

There are only six colleges that are need-blind and full-need for all applicants, including international students.[1] These are Dartmouth College, [2] Harvard University, MIT, Princeton University, Yale University, and Amherst College.[3] Middlebury College and Williams College used to be completely need-blind and full-need for international students until they revised their policies due to the recent financial downturn. Although no longer need-blind for international students, Middlebury and Williams continue to meet the full demonstrated need of all accepted international students.[4][5][6]
