<p>I've read that George Bush's grade average at Yale was comparable to another prep school grad's, namely John Kerry's. I'm not sure I buy into the idea that anyone "earns" a place at a particular college. Rather, colleges assemble classes for reasons that are specific to each college. (And why are we talking about President Bush in a thread on the Princeton Forum, when he didn't attend Princeton?)</p>

<p>I wonder why people always play that card. Do you not realize that John Kerry comes from the same ruling class? He was part of Skull and Bones as well. Both Democrats and Republicans are controlled by this small sect. There's no party of "the people". Anyway, grades don't reflect intelligence (Einstein's the classic example)</p>
