Hi..My daughter just decided to attend Temple in the fall. It was an unexpected choice so we really hadn't explored housing. Does anyone have suggestions on best housing for a non-partying female? Thanks in advance!

At this point, I’d recommend joining/applying for an LLC ([Programs | Living Learning Communities | Specialty Housing | University Housing | Temple University](http://www.temple.edu/studentaffairs/housing/specialty-housing/living-learning-communities/programs.asp)) or finding a room off-campus. If your daughter is in the Honors college, she’s guaranteed housing in the Honors LLC in 1300, which from I hear is pretty nice. If she’s not, the only dorm that still has rooms left is Peabody, which has a bad reputation for various reasons (it’s old and kind of falling apart). I’m not sure how the people are, though.

Housing fills up FAST at Temple; all of the “suite” dorms were already filled up when I committed in late March/early April!

Thank you so much, ShadowMist! Your information was very helpful, and as it turns out my daughter is very excited about the Specialty Housing. Good luck to you.
