HELP! Need more looks in my college list similar to Wake Forest University

Hi guys!
I'm new in this and would love your help.
My top school is WFU. I love the place, campus, people, everything! I also like the education and sports. Many people have said to me that it is considered a "preppy" school, which I like and consider myself to be. Reading other forums, I've come to the conclusion that Villanova University in Penn. is very similar to Wake, am I right? I am also not looking to a much harder school to get into than Wake Forest. I would prefer the schools to be in the North East of the US down to NC.

I would LOVE to hear some advice from anyone who has mmore experience!

Thank you guys!

What does the rest of your list look like? Have you seen the “preppiest colleges” rankings?
You may want to add the University of Virginia or Elon.

Furman is in SC but only a short distance from the SC/NC border.

If you are open to a somewhat smaller school, what about the University of Richmond?

Lehigh, Colgate, Boston College, Richmond.

I have Elon, WF, Villanova, Notre Dame, Lehigh, Bucknell, and American University

I would second Furman, although it’s a little further south than you have been considering. It’s very similar to Wake Forest; those two are often mentioned together around here (NC). Many Furman students like to spend time in the NC mountains, and Asheville’s just over an hour away.

Georgetown, William & Mary, Richmond

Davidson, Duke, Vanderbilt, Washington and Lee?

I once saw a post that directed folks to this data set for researching “peer” schools:
[Who Does Your College Think Its Peers Are? - Administration - The Chronicle of Higher Education](Who Does Your College Think Its Peers Are?)

Holy Cross-top25 LAC 1 hour from Boston.

I think MWCDSS’s suggestion of considering the peer schools is terrific.

Lehigh, Colgate, Boston College, Villanova, Notre Dame and Bucknell.

I consider all of these similar to Wake but with better academics.
