Okay so I'm going to be a junior next year and my currently selected schedule is:
AP STATS
AP CHEMISTRY
AP USH
AP LANG AND COMP
AP CALCULUS AB
SPANISH
GYM
But because I want to pursue a career in the medical field, I want to take all 3 science APs before I graduate and I know that's not necessary but I really just want to do it because science interests me. I'm hardworking and diligent and receive good grades and I'm ranked 2nd in a very competitive high school. I want to know which science APs when taken together are most doable? I was thinking chemistry and physics next year or chemistry and biology? Should I double up junior year or should I wait until senior year? Also, how hard is computer science when taken with 4- 5 other APs? Please help!!

It seems like too much, remember that junior year will also be a busy time with ECs and standardized testing. I would take only one AP math (probably calc), beyond that it should be okay.

Wait until your senior year to double up on sciences. You are already doubling up on math. If you really want two AP science classes your senior year then either take chemistry with biology or chemistry with physics. Biology with physics is an odd combo.

@Niquii77 is biology and physics at least doable? I know they are really different…one is a life science and the other is a physical science but they interest me.

Bio and Physics are doable together, and easier if you’ve taken at least one AP Calc and AP Chem Stats should help, too. Hold off until senior year to double up. JMHO.

@Sakacar
Thanks! I’m going to take bio and physics together senior year and take just AP chemistry junior year.

It’s doable, but the other combos gel more together.

To each his own.
