Help needed: Design a day before ACT test study plan.

My daughter is doing her last ACT test on Saturday. Her highest score was June w/27. October's was unfortunately 26. She just needs a 28 to get the next level merit scholarship award. Means a lot to me financially.

She's so sick of these tests that she's done nothing to date to study or prepare. In the past she has done short instructor led courses thru school. She's a 3.9UW/4.19w GPA and a bright kid but she is a slow reader. Believe that's hurt her. Her best scores have been Math and Literature. Worst in English and Science.

Am thinking of calling her in sick Friday if she'll give this some study time. So if I can get her to give several hours on Friday to prepping, would love to see suggested outlines for what to do or study. We have the red book, 2008; Zaps; another big book and have paid for the act on lne prep in the past and would do again if anyone thinks it's worthwhile.

Thanks in advance.

Don’t pull her out of school, that’s completely unnecessary. Make sure she gets at least 8 hours of sleep and goes to bed at a reasonable time every day this week. When she gets back from school, don’t stress her out about the test. Going over a few notes is fine, but do not take a whole practice test. Taking a practice test will just tire her out. Make sure she goes to bed early Friday night. I also suggest that when she gets up she does push ups or sit ups to get her blood flowing. I did this for my last test and I really do think it helped me wake up. Good luck to her!
