Help needed: How to send international recommendations?

<p>I want to send my international reccomendations from employers via common app.
Is it okay to do put those reccomendations under teachers?</p>

<p>It has been around 6 years now, since I've finished HS, so teachers are not relevant..</p>

<p>I understand that the problem of doing it via common app is that the same recommendations go to all of the schools I apply to. Is there any option of sending each college a personalized electronical recommendation? (sending recommendations over-seas to each college will be very expensive).</p>

<p>I've heard of snail mail - but I'm not sure it can be trusted + what about signatures etc?
Anyone had any experiece with these kind of things?</p>

<p>You cannot send the recommendation of your employer using the teachers’ one…!!!</p>

<p>You better use paper application…</p>

<p>Which country are you from? DHL gives 50% discount to send mail to universities during this time of year!</p>

<p>I am sending a rec from my boss via schoolforms. I got the rec and then gave it to my counselor who then attached it along with his rec. Make sure there is some reference to your common app ID if you choose to send it by post. However, I do not recommend snail-mail to send these things in! DHL is the way to go if you choose to send it by post.</p>

<p>I sent my letters via snail mail and it worked out fine. Four years ago there was no system for online submissions yet.</p>
