Wouldnt it be too late? 
my mom holds H1b and i am on H4. I have heard that H1b green card process are relatively pushed back now…my attorney said to expect LEAST a year. Taking a gap year?
And also, should i personally contact colleges and tell them i am on green card process? And willing to pay the tuition as a permanent resident status, not international?
My parents have told me that they would defintely able to support me once the green card comes out, as it means more loans available and lower tuitio costs.
