Help needed on current status

Ok so i'm a junior right now in a very competitive school, we were ranked 22 before in the country and was i wondering if i might get into NYU

GPA: 88
Weighted: 92

SAT score :2230

Activites: I was in the chess club, anime club, mahjong club, swimming team, key club and i plan to work in a hospital in the summer

If anyone knows of any good colleges that i can surely get into please post thank you

Also i plan to take 2 APs when I'm a senior, but will colleges look at it?

colleges will definitely look at your APs when your’re a senior
if you definitely want to go to NYU, do early decision b/c it’s easier to get in
your SAT score is great, but you need to work on your GPA

I forgot to mention I’m ranked in the bottom 50% of my school. Will the high SAT score hopefully balance it out?

sorry but probably not

how can that GPA be bottom 50 percent? thats crazy

Well, i gathered all my old report cards and there’s increasing trend:

(Unweighted)
Freshman average: 81

Sophomore average: 89

Junior average: (so far) 94

I heard colleges like to see grades going up, will this give me a slight advantage?
I really hope for some optimistic comments please…

Where is the passion/leadership in ECs? It just looks like a random list of things. However, if you can pay and not ask for FA, you have a good chance at NYU (or so i hear).

I thought they don’t weigh FA in the selection process?
